Hello! My name is Jessica and I am excited to have the opportunity to bring a beginners yoga class to Lakeside Wellness. 

I have lived in the Richmond area, Lakeside specifically for 3.5 years, after I moved from Tampa Florida! My passion for yoga began around 10 years ago while I was still living in Pennsylvania, but really grew when I moved to Florida! I know that feeling of connection when practicing yoga, and it is what I hope to bring to many people. My goal is to introduce the basics and foundations of yoga to anyone who may feel intimidated or nervous. If you have been wanting to try yoga for a while but have never stepped foot in a studio then this is YOUR time! I am here to help you transition from basic beginner, to intermediate! 

As I said previously, I currently live in Lakeside with my fiance Rodney, and two German Shepard’s, Belle and Bob. I work for Coopers Hawk Winery and restaurants as there Manager of New Restaurant openings. This means in my “spare” time I travel around opening new restaurants! Rodney and I have recently purchased some land in Axton, VA. and are planning on beginning a Christmas tree farm! My life is full right now, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I look forward to meeting many new people through Lakeside Wellness and hope to help you integrate yoga into your life!

This class is designed specifically for the beginner or anyone wanting a step-by-step review of the basics!

In a few short weeks you will walk away with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of yoga, breathing, and alignment.

Upon completing a few of my classes you will have enough knowledge to be comfortable walking in to a drop in basic or open level yoga class!
