Why Choose Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a relaxing experience that can be different for everyone. It has lasted centuries because it provides relief by addressing the imbalance our bodies and minds endure from our lifestyle choices. This means that overwork, overeating, anxiety and stress combined with a poor nutrition, lack of sleep, lack of movement and low energy can make people more susceptible to pain, illness or disease. Fortunately, a licensed acupuncturist knows where to insert very fine needles (the size of a cat whisker) to accelerate healing and improve blood flow to the areas that need it most. A typical session can last 30-45 minutes and many people fall asleep during. One session is not enough to see long-lasting benefits, however, and your acupuncturist will be able to provide a treatment plan after completing 3 visits in 10 days.

Acupuncture is for you if:

You have pain or discomfort.
You have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.
Your tests come back normal but you still feel sick.
You have irregular periods or menstrual issues.
You have digestive discomfort, nausea or bloating.
You would like to treat the root issue rather than symptoms.
