Upon finding myself in the worst physical shape of my life, I began practicing yoga in 2010, hoping to find a physical alternative to running or weight lifting. While my yoga practice did bring me ‘a good stretch’, I never could have imagined then the journey yoga would spring. Through yoga I learned how to breath, again, and to find my seat, to discover a home within myself. Yoga helped fostered greater self-awareness and allowed me to live life more fully from the inside-out.
After becoming an avid practitioner, I completed my 200 YTT from Empath Yoga in 2015. I am also certified in Yin Yoga and Laughter Yoga, and am currently enrolled in an 800 hour Yoga Therapy program at Kripalu. Over the years I have practiced or trained with over 300 teachers and I feel I have learned something valuable from them all.
My intention in my classes is to hold space, to creatively share what I have learned, and to help enable a sense of peace, well-being, and bliss for my students, through movement and in stillness.
Classes are $15 per session or $12 for weekly attendance.
